The Not In My City ™ movement came from interceding about the racial issues in the United States of America and in the local churches across this nation. The desired outcome from NIMC is to heal the racial division that causes us to have preconceived opinions that is not based on actual experiences or evidence about each other. Working together we can overcome these issues that has plagued our nation.
At the heart of NIMC is reconciliation, unity, and supporting our community.
Jeremiah 29:7 says, “Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
Churches and communities are linked together. The NIMC team seeks peace, prosperity, and transformation for Southeast Texas.
Positive change happens when we come together. Want to get involved in NIMC? We’re looking for city officials, first responders, clergy, local leaders, churches, and people like you.
Be sure to check out our upcoming events and resources. Together, we can change Southeast Texas, the nation, and the world.
